Power Journeys are full of magic and are truly life transforming

The two Mastery of Awareness Courses filled up
quickly. Between the two classes there are near 50 participants. The
group synergy has come together and many are making real movement
with the material and energy of the course.
We hadn't plan to offer this
course again for another 6 months. However we have had a number of
requests to do so. If there is enough interest we will start up class
three.

Controlled Folly - A Toltec Art, A Powerful Technique
"When a man learns to see, he realizes that he can no longer think
about the things he looks at, and if he cannot think about what he
looks at everything becomes unimportant. Everything is equal and
therefore unimportant . . . Once a man learns to see he finds
himself alone in the world with nothing but folly. Your acts, as
well as the acts of your fellow men in general, appear to be
important to you because you have learned to think they are

"By the time we come to sorcery, our personality is already formed
and all we can do is practice controlled folly and laugh at
ourselves." The Power of Silence
Personality is of the world. It is from the (borrowing the words of
don Miguel Ruiz) 'dream of the planet'. It is
something we acquire after birth. We are born with certain karmatic
patterns that are part of our genetic make up. These patterns
interact with the domestication we receive growing up from our
parents and society forming our personality. Our personality is not
who we are, although we are taught it is who we are. Because of this
we place our identity in our personality and give the personality
its importance. Personality is where the ego plants its roots,
particularly in the mental body aspect of the personality.
What is
ego? It is the body of pretension, pretending to be something it is
not. Ego is unique to the human species. Ego gives us our
self-importance. We place our identity in our personality. We
believe we are something we are not (personality) and give
importance to it.
When beginning to 'see', one of the first things you realize is that
you are not your personality. You 'see'
the folly in taking yourself (personality) so seriously.
Stalking is a core technique in Toltec warriorship as through
stalking we begin to know our habitual personality
patterns. We begin by taking a personal inventory of ourselves. We
observe our actions, emotions and thoughts. We notice our habits. We
inventory our beliefs. This is all part of the Mastery of Awareness.
The next step is to begin to change our beliefs, break our habits,
our routine ways of thinking and feeling. Not-doing and the
recapitulation are great tools here. All through this we continue to
hone our stalking skills. We observe the habitual way we relate to
ourselves, to others and to the world. This is all part of the
Mastery of Stalking, sometimes called the Mastery of Transformation.
We see that we are not our personality. We see how it is no more
important or unimportant than anybody else's personality.
But what is missing here?
If we are not our personality, then who are we? A bigger question
yet is what are we? If we can no longer place our identity in our
personality then where do we place it?
We will never know the full answer to these questions. They are part
of the mystery of man. But not knowing the answer does not prevent
us from holding part of our awareness on who we are. And, unless we
do this we will inevitably fall back to sleep and habitually put our
identity back into our personality. As long as we have our
identity in our personality we cannot help but to have self
importance. We live our lives wasting our vital force by believing
we are something that is acquired, not really who we are.
So, how do we hold at least a part of our awareness on who we are?
Ask yourself when stalking, who is it that is observing my
personality? For those of you who have glimpses of 'seeing', focus
on who it is that is 'seeing'.
Who or what is it that is intending? Where does my will come from?
Follow your will back to its source as far as you can. By doing this
as often as you can you will begin to get the sensation of Self.
When you have the sensation of Self hold this sensation as long and
as often as you can as you go about your day. When you are able to
hold this this sensation in your awareness as you live your life and
in your daily
activities some pretty amazing things begin to happen. First, you
are truly able to stalk yourself and others.
Since your identity is no longer in your personality you have
nothing vested in it. You are free of it and
controlled folly begins.
Second, you begin to actually practice controlled folly. You do this
not as a personality trick but as something
that comes somewhat naturally. Many on this path fool themselves
into thinking they are practicing controlled
folly. What they are actually doing is placing their will in one
aspect of their personality that convinces another
aspect of their personality that nothing bothers them and that they
are just acting. But it is really just more
personality games. When pushed too far they inevitably crack and
explode and all their control of folly goes
flying out the door. By taking your identity out of your personality
and putting it onto a higher frequency of Self
through holding awareness of the sensation of Self you begin to free
yourself from your personality. You no
longer take it seriously.
Third, your capacity for 'seeing' will open. Seeing is a knowingness
of things. When you have a question about life you 'see' the
answer. Carrying out what you 'see' is another matter. Just because
you 'see' it doesn't mean it is any easier to take the actions you
need to take for correction if correction is necessary. This is
where you need to develop strong will and align with intent.
Fourth, by continually holding the awareness of Self you strengthen
your connection with your Dreamer. We are but an aspect of our
Dreamer. We are the dreamed. Our world is the dream. The Dreamer
holds our essence and purpose. It embodies the intent of our lives.
By connecting with your Dreamer you open the doors of intent to flow
through you and out into your life. You will begin to 'see' your
life begin to change in alignment with the intent of your Dreamer.
You truly embark on your Path of Destiny. You no longer have to
manifest your life. It is manifested through you by your Dreamer.
This is a scary proposition for those who still have their identity
in their personality. Oh no! What if my Dreamer manifests something
I don't like! What about free will! What about what I want! What
about me! me me me.
By holding your awareness on the essence of Self you are tuning into
a higher frequency and holding it. This loosens your assemblage
point. Dreaming becomes more profound. Your personality is much more
dense than Self. The denser it is the harder it is to move. We want
to raise our habitual platform of frequency. The higher our platform
the freer we are. This is why this path is called the Path of
Freedom.
So what is missing? Self.

A True Experience of Life at Chichen Itza

For someone who used to have great difficulty experiencing energy, I always get transformed the minute the plane touches the ground in Cancun. There is magic, wonder and vitality to this land. The air is crisper, cleaner and the sensation coming from the ocean and the jungles feels like real life! Cancun gives a one a true feeling and sensation of being alive.
As I approached the top of the pyramid of the sun I felt a cool breeze. Looking around, seeing the top of miles and miles of jungle, I was on top of the world. We are children of heaven and earth, and here I stood perfectly between the two. Here there are a few different rooms standing. The energy in these is light and crisp, inviting one to sit with the eyes closed and slip into an energy of bliss. It is now that you begin to feel truly alive, as every cell seems to awaken to a higher power, as the air you breath is bringing your lungs, blood and body to life. It is here and now that you begin to sense the incredible energy of this power place at Chichen Itza and where one comes to know a part of God, simultaneously looking upon this in-body process with love and gratitude for being truly alive.
