Instant Gratification is a common mindset. We see it frequently among those in spiritual growth. There are spiritual laws and laws of physicality. As spiritual warriors, we use both to our advantage. Too many people in spirituality want only to deal with the spiritual laws, not the physical laws. However, to be successful with spiritual laws, we must have at least a substantial proficiency at physical laws.
One of the reasons we come into body is because of time and space. There are things we can do with time and space that we cannot do when out of body and not subject to time and space. One advantage of time and space is that it enables us to work out the details of charges and issues we come into body with. When we come into physicality and enter a body it is as though we have taken a magnifying glass and picked out a piece, a detail of the huge collective vat of humanity's karma to work on. Humanity's karma is collective. When we come into body, we perceive it as individual karma. We are meant to perceive it as our own karma as this makes it easier to focus on and work it through.

When in Spirit it is difficult to separate out a piece to work on. It is all a collective mix, much like ribbons of different colored paints mixed together in a huge can. It is difficult to separate out one color to work on. When we come into body we are able to take just one shade of one color to work on and we have a lifetime to work on it.
Many people struggle with the false need for instant gratification, not only with money, but with their spiritual growth. They want to be healed and self-realized now. Many are always looking for that instant enlightenment, for that spiritual shortcut. What they forget is that growth comes through the process of doing the work. Seeking instant gratification short-circuits the process and stops growth.

I would like to know if the person I am with, Douglas Walker, is the person for me. My gut feeling is no he isn't and I don't think it will work out after all but, am I going to fast? Should I wait longer or just tell him to go?

Hello Angela,
Clearly you know this person is not for you. At this point, the question to be asking yourself is why would you continue to stay with someone you know is not suited to you? What beliefs or agreements do you hold that define ending a relationship “too quickly” if it is not suited to you?
We always know what we need to do but out of fear, we hesitate or avoid doing what we need to do. Angela, you may wish to ask yourself what it is that you are really afraid of. Are you ready to take the next step in your life and to work past your hesitation?
We often say and think that we want a healthy and loving relationship, but we take actions that prove contrary to this, such as by staying with someone who we know is not truly suited to us.

Dear Guides,
My path as a light worker is unclear for me. How do I clarify what I am to do now? How do I clarify where I am going? I am 58 not 30, so this has been weighing on my life greatly lately. I know that relationships are just mirrors of us, past? Or now? Help, I would like to know.

Hello Marie,
Regardless of our age, time is never on our sides. Toltecs focus on the now moment, never assuming that they have years ahead of them, taking advantage of every minute now.
Yes, Marie, relationships are mirrors of our present, as there is only the now moment. Life’s mirrors reflect everything to us about ourselves, the way a literal mirror reflects our entire image. Mirrors are, therefore, meant to help us to know ourselves so that we may know what we do not like that we wish to change and, more importantly, where we are unhealed so that we can heal. By offering us mirrors, Life helps us know what we need to strengthen in ourselves. As we strengthen ourselves and get more in touch with our Authentic selves, we take steps towards our own divinity.
Our true purpose in life is to heal, regardless of our life circumstances such as the job we hold or the relationships we are in. If we are feeling lost or as though we do not know what to do, then we need to look more closely at our mirrors and take the necessary actions in our lives doing what we know we need to do.

Dear Guides,
The masters of the white lodge, such as Samael aun Weor, revealed knowledge such as true white tantra, and dissolving the ego. Much is right on with the Toltec practices. The main thing that is missing is white tantra. Sexual alchemy without orgasm. All of the practices have to be experienced first hand. From what Samael says about the kundalini is that it can only be activated with kundalini yoga and such but never truly rise. One must mix the solar and lunar atoms during sex to ignite the fire. The Taoist methods are considered black by the white lodge as they permit orgasm, even if trying to still hold the physical energy in. Samael writes about how the Toltecs, Egyptians, and true Christians all practiced white tantra but it has been kept secret or perverted into black tantra. What are your views on white tantra and all this stuff and how it relates to your Toltec teachings. It’s hard when beliefs conflict and one may be missing a vital teaching or be teaching something wrong.

Hello transmute,
Your confusion comes from trying to `understand' without application. What is most true about Gnosis doctrine is that Self-Realization can only come through "work on oneself" and "first hand experience."
One of the first things you must do on the Toltec Path is to clean, clear, heal, and strengthen the human tonal. The `cleaning' means giving up our inventory. Part of our inventory is beliefs and knowledge. You say you fear `missing a vital teaching due to conflicting beliefs'. The Toltec path is one of direct knowledge. There are no beliefs, only a `structure' that can help us negotiate the path. However, we must never turn that `structure' into a belief. We must at sometime along our path give the `structure' up in order to experience knowingness directly.
You simply cannot `learn' what you are wishing to know from books and writings. In trying to do so you will forever be confused because it is not direct application. You will always find something that will contradict something else. Therefore, either you must turn a blind eye to other writings or you must continue to search endlessly for the truth. Unfortunately, this kind of searching does help one iota to give you the growth and evolution that is part of a spiritual path. Only doing the `work' gives you growth.
So many people have so much motion in their spirituality, but only a few have true movement. Learning is motion. It is like a dog chasing its tail. Lots of motion but it doesn't go anywhere. Growth, on the other hand, can only come through application and is true movement.
If you wish to know whether the writings on white tantra or black tantra are true, I suggest you take the next 7 years and practice white tantra. Then you will know. I can tell you that there was a period in my life when I was sidetracked by such practices, but I eventually realized that these practices did not take me to where I wanted to go – to where I am now. Nevertheless, don't take what I say for granted. Find out for yourself by `doing' the work.
As Toltecs often say: "Don't believe anyone. Don't believe me. Don't believe yourself."

Always Do Your Best
The Universe is made of energy - everything in the form has an energetic counterpart, even our actions.
To do your best means to do what you can, it means to do things with intent. When we do our best we can't help but use a clear and powerful energy. The energy we use in life is energy that we put into life, which we then experience since it is now in our lives.
In helping us create the most enjoyable and fulfilling life possible, we want to use the best energy we can. We want to do our best so that not only we reap the rewards of such a life, but those around us will be positively affected as well. |

One of the greatest mistakes people make in life is that they look outside of themselves when they see problems in life. To become a divine and connected child of God we must focus on ourselves, taking responsibility for our lives, our healing and our growth. This is how we increase our connection to our Souls and how we will know Heaven.
As each of us focuses on ourselves we begin to shift the consciousness of humanity as a whole so that by each of us seeking connection with our own souls humanity will follow. By seeking and praying Nesta, you are working on yourself and you are affecting humanity in the greatest and most impacting way that you can. For this I sincerely thank you.
