Is
the Intent of Your Spiritual Connection Misplaced? |

|
How do you use your spiritual
connection? Looking at your answer to this question
may uncover where you become snagged in your growth
and evolution. We can make this question more
specific as follows: Do you or have you ever used
your spiritual connection to get away from your life
issues?
If the answer to this question
is yes, your spiritual connection is misplaced.
If we use our spiritual
connection to get away from our life patterns, pain,
having to deal with life, we are moving against the
Intent of Nagual. We are working against the
energetic flow that is behind the purpose of coming
into body.
What we are meant to do
with our spiritual connection is to bring it all the
way down and through us in order to refine and
evolve self and our patterns. This is the true work
in accordance to the Intent of the Dreamer that is
dreaming our lifetime.
When we use our spiritual
connection to escape from our life in the tonal, it
has a negative impact on our life. While it may feel
wonderful to move into worlds of energy, when we
come back to our daily life we are often miserable.
We become split. A part of us is constantly trying
to escape from the self we are in body, and another
part of us has to deal with the pain of our daily
life. People who use their spirituality to escape
often lack personal power and the ability to make
life work. Toltecs stalk power, as they understand
how important power is to our spiritual growth and
evolution.

The

Intent flows from the Nagual,
through the Dreamer, into self, and out into our
life. When we work with this flow, we have the power
of the Nagual behind us. When we bring our
spirituality down into our daily lives we grow and
evolve from a firm foundation. Not only do our
relationships, career, and health benefit, but also
our spiritual connection grows all that much
stronger. We are working with Power not against it.
However, moving with the flow
of Intent takes work. We must work to bring our
spirituality down into all of those areas in self we
have suppressed and repressed inside. We must
confront our weaknesses, our pain and our
shortcomings. As we do so, we grow and evolve those
dark places in self. We become an integrated whole
in alignment to the Intent of the Nagual.
For the Toltec, the ultimate
step is called burning from the fire within. Burning
from the fire within occurs when every bit of our
human tonal, all of our subconscious, all of our
thoughts, feelings and actions, all of our patterns
and issues, and our energy body, have all been
refined and evolved so that they are in total
alignment to the Intent of the Nagual. We become one
with Intent. This can only happen when we are whole,
integrated, and have brought our spiritual
connection fully into our human condition.

Don't Take Anything
Personally
The truth often hurts! The
light of awareness is all about seeing what is in life,
including seeing ourselves. You don’t have to take the truth

Nothing
Matters, But It's All Relevant
|

Are we
contradicting ourselves when we say that nothing matters, but it
is all relative? Where is the logic in this statement? Is it
possible to behave as though nothing matters even though it is
all relevant?
To
person on the Toltec path, this statement makes perfect sense.
They understand how to perceive life, it's events. They know how
to perceive this statement, a spiritual law that is too often
mis-understood, or misperceived.
In
the sixties a new age was born, an age in which people let go of
the rigid ways of being, behaving and thinking; ways which
belonged to the past. "Peace and Love" gave way to being too
carefree, thinking that nothing mattered. We have all
experimented with this attitude towards life and we have all
found that this doesn't work. Hippies turned into yuppies
because things do matter to us; we are here in body and we can't
help but be affected by life, by those around us, by our dreams
to have the life we desire and, most of all, by our needs.
The Toltec trick to being balanced and perceiving life
accurately is by choosing by how and what we let affect us in
life. Nothing matters, but every aspect of our lives are
relevant to us, and we choose to be affected by what will
fulfill our needs and our growth. We can't let every detail of
life affect us because we'd go crazy.
We
need to keep in mind that we are affected by life and that in
the long run, no details in life matter. It is what lies below
the surface of the details that really matters: our true needs
in life and fulfilling these.
For example, at work it is easy for us to see that nothing
matters as long as we receive our paycheck, unless we are the
boss or owner! And yet, work affects us strongly. On the surface
work brings us money, but if we let too many details affect us,
like our office mate's bad mood, we are controlled by the dream
of the planet and we are forgetting that nothing matters.
Receiving our paycheck is our need, and our we shouldn’t lose
site of this. Playing the political office games can be tiring
and feel like a waste of energy, however, to fulfill our need of
a paycheck, we know that the office games do not matter, but
playing them is relevant to receiving our pay. We, therefore,
play the game in the office or the game of life in order to
address the needs we have in life, knowing that the game is
relevant to our needs and that the game of life and it's
details, do not matter.
A
Toltec Warrior does not allow personal importance, ego or pride
to stop them from turning the holiday into an enjoyable time.
The warrior recognizes that these aspects of their personality
only serve to make things more complicated and to bring feelings
of discomfort, pain and insecurity, so they make the holidays
simple!
For your holiday season, let other people be themselves and
leave your perceptions of them behind. Appreciate them and be
grateful for what every gift or contribution they make to your
life. By doing this your view of the holidays will be simple,
enjoyable and more pleasant. You will make your holiday hassle
and trouble free while adding great enjoyment.
